Spring school in Bloemendaal
After the Summer and Winter School, Welzijn Bloemendaal now also organizes a Spring School during the May holidays for teens (from 11 to 18 years old) like resident permit holders, refugees and expats. The holiday school is not an ordinary school. The school is organized in collaboration with the town hall of Bloemendaal offered to ensure that young people remain engaged with the Dutch language during holiday periods and thus do not get a language deficiency. In addition, the school aims to make these teens get to know each other by coming together to increase their social network. In the morning hours, lessons are given in Dutch and social studies. in an interactive way. Cultural and sports activities take place in the afternoons. The Spring School is offered free of charge and is intended for children who live in the municipality of Bloemendaal (Bennebroek, Vogelenzang, Aerdenhout, Bloemendaal and Overveen) and Heemstede. Especially nowadays it is of extra importance for these children to continue to follow these lessons.
The Spring School takes place from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm during the May holidays on:
Week 1: Monday April 26 and Wednesday April 28
Week 2: Monday, May 3, and Wednesday, May 5 (with a special activity )
Are you someone or do you know children who would qualify for this or do you want more information? Then contact Nicole Honingh before April 15;
